Run-and-gun, full throttle
Sprint, slide, somersault Contra-style and shoot mid-flip through stages packed with soldiers, gunners, drones and things that explode when you look at them funny.
A 2D run-and-gun soaked in chrome, snow and bad decisions.
Our first game
Dracu: Mother Russia is a hand-built run-and-gun about a Romanian assassin with a very big gun and a very long hit list. Sprint across six frozen, burning, Soviet-flavoured stages, blow up everything that isn't nailed down, and hit the stuff that is nailed down harder.
Somewhere past the Carpathians, a power-mad empire has rolled out the tanks, the drones and a bear the size of a garage. At the top of it all sits Mother Russia herself, eyes glowing and in no mood to share. Dracu has a contract. Dracu has a list. Dracu brought friends, and some of them have four legs.
Sprint, slide, somersault Contra-style and shoot mid-flip through stages packed with soldiers, gunners, drones and things that explode when you look at them funny.
Every weapon grows as you use it, from cool cyan all the way to blazing gold. Gold-tier guns hit like a falling piano.
From a snowed-in outpost to a secret lab and a fortress at the end of the world, each stage brings its own traps, props and backdrop.
Six huge multi-phase boss fights, flag-coloured health bars and cinematic finishers big enough to deserve their own fireworks budget.
Charlie, Romeo, Bruce, Heidy, Oreo and Lupu run with you and chew through the opposition. Good dogs. Dangerous dogs.
Earn new looks for Dracu, El Guapo, Bogdan, Goddess and the pack, and show up to the apocalypse dressed properly.
A long list of things to brag about, including a few you'll only find by doing something very stupid.
Think you've beaten it? Siberia hard mode turns the cold, the bullets and the bosses all the way up.
The roster

Old-world Romanian assassin, new-world firepower. Never misses, never forgets, and has a very personal problem with empires.

Handsome, loud and impossible to keep out of trouble. He brings the swagger and plenty of extra bullets.

Sharp white suit, gold pistols, zero patience. Bogdan settles every argument the loud way, and rarely needs a second clip.

Red hair, black leather, deadly aim. She walks into the fortress like she owns it, and by the end she might.

Tan coat, black saddle, zero fear. First into every fight.

A lover, not a fighter, right up until somebody shoots at Dracu.

Small dog, enormous attitude. Bites ankles. Bites tanks.

Fast, sharp-eared and always one step ahead of the patrol.

Black, white and fluffy all over. Mostly cuddles, with occasional mayhem.

The wolf of the pack. Howls at the moon, then at the army.

A sweet old grandma with a cast-iron pan and a cane she swings like a war hammer. "You look thin. Let me FIX that."

A heavily decorated bear with laser eyes and a red star on his chest. He takes the Frozen Forest very personally.

A painted nesting doll packing a cannon in its belly. Crack one shell and there's another inside. "Inside every doll... is a ANGRIER doll."

Shirtless, bear-riding and full of himself. Push him hard enough and he unleashes his final form. You have been warned.

A blond boxing giant in star-spangled red shorts, with fists like wrecking balls. "I am the Iron Curtain."

The empire's towering final boss. Her eyes fire lasers, and she does not miss often.
